Web applications
From a single page to a complete application – with Node.js, Express, Vue or Next.js. Including database, login and an editor for the content.
Full-stack web developer
I have been building web applications for more than 15 years: from online shops and REST interfaces to small tools that take care of tedious work on their own. Preferably with Node.js, JavaScript, PHP and Linux – lean, maintainable and without unnecessary ballast.

I started with an apprenticeship as an electrical fitter at Siemens, followed by training as a media designer – and at some point the realisation that programming suits me better than anything else.
Since then I have been building web applications: online shops, internal tools, interfaces to Amazon, eBay and WooCommerce, cron-based automation and small apps that do exactly one thing well. I take care of all of it – frontend, backend, database and the Linux server underneath.
What matters to me: readable code, solutions that still run in two years, and honest conversations about what makes sense and what does not.

WooCommerce and WordPress, connections to Amazon and eBay APIs, product data maintenance and import/export via REST, JSON and XML.
The server takes over recurring work: cron jobs, data synchronisation, bulk sending, reports. Set up once, then it runs on its own.
Linux, nginx, PM2, Let's Encrypt certificates, backups and monitoring. I look after my projects after launch as well.
Complete redesign of the online shop hemden-meister.de, plus custom web tools for maintaining content directly in the frontend.
WooCommerce and WordPress, Node.js, PHP, MySQL, Linux. Connected to the Amazon and eBay APIs including product data maintenance.

A platform for finding web jobs – made for digital nomads and location-independent work.
Payment handling via the Stripe API, backend built with PHP (CodeIgniter) and MySQL.

A modern app for playing religious audio content and videos.
Next.js on the frontend, video processing with ffmpeg, animations with GSAP and PixiJS.

A tool for sending around 30,000 emails per month free of charge: it automatically spreads the sending across the free quotas of many providers.
Connected via REST API are Mailgun, SendGrid, Mailjet, MailerSend, Brevo, Mailtrap, Postmark, Mailchimp, Rapidmail and Amazon SES, among others.
